HOUSTON, TX – Litigators Seth Kretzer and Ashley Blair Arnett have launched Kretzer & Arnett, a Houston-based litigation firm focused on commercial disputes and complex litigation in federal and state courts.

 The firm represents businesses and individuals in matters including contract disputes, partnership conflicts, and business tort litigation.  In addition to trial-level work, the firm also handles appeals and post-judgment enforcement. 

Kretzer & Arnett said the firm was created to provide clients with direct access to experienced litigators throughout a case.

“Clients rely on us to provide clear strategy and experienced advocacy when disputes threaten a business or professional reputation,” Kretzer and Arnett said in a joint statement.  “We built the firm to deliver practical litigation counsel and focused attention on each case.”

Kretzer has extensive experience in complex federal litigation and has presented two oral arguments before the Supreme Court of the United States on behalf of inmates on Texas’ death row.  His advocacy in Ramirez v. Collier was later featured in the Oscar-nominated documentary I Am Ready, Warden. 

Ashley Arnett brings nearly two decades of litigation experience representing businesses and individuals in complex disputes. She has tried cases across the country, from California to Maine.  Earlier in her career, Arnett represented individuals in criminal tax matters prosecuted by the U.S. Department of Justice, experience that informs her approach to high-stakes financial litigation.    

The Firm will operate as a litigation boutique in which clients work directly with attorneys handling their matters from investigation through trial and, when necessary appeals or enforcement proceedings.
