RECCO, Italy – January 16, 2026 — Elite Top Fight, an Italy-based professional combat sports circuit, announced the introduction of a 3×3 boxing format for its professional events, restructuring standard bouts into three rounds of three minutes under a revised competition model.

The organization stated that the format is designed to shorten bout duration compared with traditional professional boxing structures, which often run 10 to 12 rounds, and to support a standardized event schedule for its programming.
Under the 3×3 format, Elite Top Fight reported that standard professional bouts will consist of three rounds of three minutes, while title contests will extend to five rounds.
Elite Top Fight also outlined changes to event planning under the updated structure. According to the organization, events are designed to include up to nine professional bouts within an approximately three-hour broadcast window. The company added that events may incorporate additional production elements, including music segments, as part of the program format.
Elite Top Fight operates as a privately managed circuit and said it maintains centralized oversight of athlete participation, event logistics, production planning, and distribution. The organization stated that bout scheduling and event operations follow standardized internal protocols.
The company also confirmed plans for the Area Performance Center, a multi-use training and competition facility scheduled for completion in Liguria, Italy, in 2026. Elite Top Fight stated that the project represents an investment of approximately €5 million.
According to the organization, the planned facility will span approximately 4,000 square meters across five floors and is expected to include an arena, training areas, recovery and fitness spaces, medical rooms, and production infrastructure.
Elite Top Fight also reported that it uses Rank X, a proprietary performance tracking platform intended to record athlete activity and performance data across multiple combat disciplines. The company stated that the system is designed to support athlete monitoring and event planning.
Elite Top Fight said the 3×3 format will be implemented across future events as the organization continues its scheduled programming and facility development initiatives.
