The new lineup includes the LIVE-MAXX LITE™, VXR™ SHATTER™, VXR TRACE, and GLASS BREAKER-X™ – each engineered to address specific field needs ranging from high-impact airborne irritant performance to enhanced low-light shot awareness and enhanced glass-breaking performance.

Four New Projectiles, Four Mission-Focused Capabilities
LIVE-MAXX LITE
The LIVE-MAXX LITE delivers 3% MAXSAICIN, a proprietary formulation engineered to maximize airborne PAVA for rapid, high-impact, and is an intermediate step between the PepperBall LIVE-X™ and 5% LIVE-MAXX™ projectiles. MAXSAICIN provides 50% greater bio-availability than standard PepperBall PAVA powders, allowing more irritant to be inhaled for effective area control and threat deterrence.
VXR SHATTER
The VXR SHATTER is powered by a RoboRounds micro-ball-based payload designed to break tempered and reinforced glass. On impact, it releases ultra-hard ceramic micro-balls that concentrate energy in a tight area; the carrier disintegrates at the surface, reducing the likelihood that a large mass continues forward.
VXR TRACE
The VXR TRACE series matches the performance of standard PepperBall VXR rounds while adding an integrated light-reflective sticker to enhance shot awareness in low-light when illuminated by a flashlight (visibility varies by distance, lighting, and angle). VXR TRACE is offered in INERT™ TRACE, LIVE-X™ TRACE, and LIVE-MAXX™ TRACE variants.
GLASS BREAKER-X
The GLASS BREAKER-X is a premium glass-breaking projectile engineered to reliably fracture common residential and automotive safety glass across a range of impact speeds.
This launch gives agencies a broader set of operational tools to match the realities of today’s calls without changing how they train, deploy, or maintain readiness. With these additions, teams can tailor their response more precisely to the moment, improve consistency in the field, and stay prepared for a wider range of scenarios where non-lethal options are needed.
