The new vessel expands the brand’s portfolio of deep-V center consoles, continuing a tradition of performance-oriented design combined with practical comfort for both anglers and recreational boaters.
North Carolina, United States, 18th Dec 2025 – Regulator Marine, a U.S.-based manufacturer of center-console boats, has announced the introduction of an updated 28-foot center console model scheduled for release as part of its 2026 lineup. The model is the latest addition to the company’s range of offshore-capable vessels and reflects ongoing design updates across its product portfolio.
Regulator Marine, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Edenton, North Carolina, produces center-console boats designed for offshore operation. The company’s boats are built using a deep-V hull configuration and foam-filled construction methods intended to support structural integrity and operational stability in open-water conditions. The 28-foot model incorporates the same construction approach used across the Regulator lineup.
The updated 28-foot center console is equipped with twin Yamaha Offshore F350 outboard engines as standard and has a fuel capacity of 219 gallons. The model includes Seakeeper Ride™ technology, which assists with dynamic trim control while underway. According to the manufacturer, the system is intended to help manage pitch and roll during operation in varying sea states.
Deck layout and onboard systems have been configured to support fishing and general recreational use. Standard features include an in-deck fishbox with integrated rod storage, insulated forward compartments that can be used for storage, and dedicated areas for equipment and supplies. Optional configurations allow for pressurized livewells at the transom, a slide-out tackle storage unit, and alternative helm seating arrangements.
In addition to fishing-related features, the center-console layout provides full deck circulation around the console area. The model includes a fixed T-Top with integrated handholds and seating areas fitted with removable cushions. Freshwater systems and enclosed console space are also available, depending on configuration, supporting day cruising and extended outings.
Speaking about the announcement, Joey Jordan, President of Regulator Marine, said:
“The 28-foot model reflects our ongoing approach to refining existing designs based on operational use and customer feedback. This update continues our focus on construction consistency, functional layouts, and offshore suitability across our product range.”
The 28-foot center console is expected to be available through authorized Regulator Marine dealers in 2026. Additional specifications and configuration options will be released closer to market availability.
