The residential program at Peachtree’s Atlanta detox center has undergone a number of operational upgrades, including updated protocols, better coordination techniques, and adjustments to staffing schedules. Rising program demand and an internal evaluation led to these changes. Now operational, the renovated residential structure is intended to facilitate more effective intake and triage procedures.
Atlanta, GA, United States, 21st Nov 2025 — At its Atlanta detox center, Peachtree Detox has made a number of operational changes to its residential treatment program, including updated protocols, increased coordination efforts, and modifications to internal workflows. The modifications are a part of the organization’s continuous attempts to improve program structure and standardize procedures across divisions, and they come after an internal evaluation that was carried out earlier this year in response to rising program demand and the facility’s need to accommodate more residents.

The business claims that an internal analysis of residential workflows conducted earlier in the year led to the development of the changes. The goal of the revised design is to better align the detox Atlanta unit with its residential environment. In order to reduce operational gaps for residents transitioning from one stage of care to the next, this entails updating internal routines, modifying handoff protocols, and planning timetables. The center stated that the objective is to make internal procedures more consistent across departments.
“As part of our routine program evaluations, we identified several areas where procedural adjustments would strengthen overall consistency,” said Jason Flaig, CEO of Peachtree Detox Center. “These updates reflect our ongoing effort to refine internal processes as the organization continues to grow.”
Peachtree’s Atlanta detox center has introduced new administrative procedures to standardize communication between departments. Updates to documentation workflows, improved handoff coordination procedures among staff teams, and modifications to the residential program’s daily operational procedures are some of these changes. According to the center, these modifications were put in place to ensure that staff members follow standard procedures at every stage of resident transportation and that information flows through the institution consistently.
“We focused on ensuring that internal communication and scheduling frameworks were updated to match current operational needs,” said Abijola Babatunde, Medical Director. “The adjustments support improved coordination across departments within the facility.”
In order to provide constant coverage throughout program hours, additional changes were made to staffing assignments and residential activity scheduling. These included rearranging supervision patterns, changing staff shift rotations, and modifying time blocks for daily routines. The goal of these internal adjustments is to uphold consistent oversight during programming hours and facilitate predictable routines.
“We regularly assess our program structure, and the recent residential updates are part of that ongoing review cycle,” said Jacob Miles, Executive Director. “The adjustments introduced this quarter were designed to reinforce standardization and program continuity.”
According to the center, implementation started this quarter, and more assessments are scheduled for the entire year to track integration and gauge the new processes’ efficacy. The revised residential configuration, which is now in use at the detox in Atlanta GA location, was designed to assist the facility in organizing new residents through a more efficient triage-based approach and managing the institution’s increasing intake volume.
