Fourth Annual Sew-A-Thon Launched by Sew Powerful

The Sew‑A‑Thon challenges sewing enthusiasts across the globe to make purses during September and raise funds in support of the campaign. Each purse-filled with reusable hygiene supplies-costs just $10 to produce and enables a schoolgirl in Zambia to confidently attend school every day of the month.

Sew Powerful lives out its mission by creating purposeful products that change communities-things like school uniforms, reusable hygiene pads, soap, and farm-fresh food. In Zambia, the organization provides good-paying jobs to local team members who “do well by doing good,” and they’re supported by thousands of passionate volunteers around the world.
